Our Story
Let us tell you about ourselves! It all started when we bought a plot of land where we also found an old cherry tree. At the time we knew nothing about it, but not long after we understood its true value. That was the spark for a home-grown project, still growing today, known as The Bitter Cherry Orchard.
Out of a wish to bring back the taste of childhood, the taste of bitter cherry jam, today we have an orchard of about 800 trees.
All the work in the orchard is done by us. Our passion for nature even sent us back to school: we became students at the Faculty of Horticulture at the age of 30. They say you never stop learning, right?
We look forward to getting to know you better. At the orchard you’ll find fresh fruit, usually from mid-June. We are bitter cherry producers certified by the local authorities.
You can also taste and buy our bitter cherry jam. It is also available in our online shop. We also offer you a natural outdoor photo studio for your family photos and, although it has nothing to do with fruit growing, you can learn about horses, interact with them and, why not, maybe even ride one for the first time.
